CONTACT A BIG JAY

Make Contact

If you have a problem, project or idea that you think A BIG JAY may be able to help with, get in touch.

You do not need to work out which of our service areas it belongs under first. Give us a brief outline of what is happening, what you would like to achieve and any important background, and we can take it from there. We are based in Orton Longueville, Peterborough and work primarily with individuals, community organisations and projects in and around the local area.

You might be contacting us about…

• a property, estate or shared-infrastructure problem;
• an established home automation or technology system that needs sorting out;
• a difficult administrative, financial or public-body issue;
• working with Orton Oracle or another community project;
• supporting or working with Redwood Honey;
• a possible partnership with A BIG JAY.

Partner with us

Partnerships are an important part of how A BIG JAY wants to work.

We are keen to build relationships with local charities, voluntary groups, community organisations, parish councils, social enterprises and other not-for-profit or community-minded organisations where there is a genuine opportunity to work together.

That might mean:

• sharing local knowledge, contacts or expertise;
• supporting an existing community project;
• helping extend the reach of useful local information;
• collaborating on charitable or fundraising activity;
• developing a new project together;
• making better use of an existing A BIG JAY platform such as Orton Oracle.

We are particularly interested in relationships where both organisations retain their own identity and independence, but can achieve more by working together than they could separately.

Orton Oracle is a good example. It already reaches more than 7,000 homes per edition, and we would welcome discussions with local organisations that could help strengthen it as a community information resource.

If your organisation has similar aims and you think there may be scope to work together, we would genuinely like to hear from you.
